Scope: Pelleting control system (UL508a Panels, PLCs)
This project integrated automation, SCADA and other innovative technologies for this smart control center upgrade to monitor the pelletizing process. The Pelleting Control System runs 24/7 on a Rockwell Software platform to help maintain high-quality production at all times.
Lighthouse Electrical’s expert team was used to improve the management of the project’s milling machine control system. We implemented an IntelliCENTER Allen-Bradly smart motor control center, including the MCCs 2000 amp main switchboard, which allowed for real-time feedback on conditions and speeds of each individual motor in use at all times – enabling more efficient running throughout production lines. Our sister company, ICAD Automation, provided engineering and design expertise as well.
